RECORD SALES FROM EVOLIS CARD PRINTERS IN 2006
Evolis enjoyed strong growth and great success in 2006 generating companywide annual revenue of $37.5 million. The 52% increase from 2005 leveraged partner-centric support programs and business development efforts implemented in collaboration with our distribution network.
In 2006, the Evolis teams and all partners worked together to bring two new solutions to the plastic card printer market: the new Dualys, and the Tattoo Rewrite. Our distribution network capitalized on the enhanced Dualys product line, posting an outstanding 71-percent year-to-year increase in shipments.
Advantidge began distributing the complete line of Evolis products in 2005 and has played a key role in their growth and distribution, especially in the southwest United States. In only six years, Evolis has introduced more than 200 product offerings in a highly segmented, competitive market. Support and commitment from our network partners were key in exceeding the bar of 52,000 units installed worldwide.
The early-2007 introduction of the Securion, a new printing and laminating solution, will be another milestone in strong commitment to conquer government and security markets.
