New CardStudio Photo ID Software for Zebra Printers
ID SuperShop, a proud Premier Partner of Zebra Technologies is excited to introduce CardStudio™ software for Zebra® ID card printers. CardStudio will be sold globally under the ZMotif™ umbrella as a stand-alone or bundled ID card product, and will support all current and legacy Zebra card printers—both direct-to-card and retransfer. By offering three versions of the product with a range of features and price points—and by enabling upgrades from the more basic versions to the more advanced— you will gain more revenue opportunities!
A demo version of CardStudio will be available as an orderable part number at no charge, and easy upgrades can be made from the Classic to Professional, and Standard to Professional, via a license key. There is also a Face Snap plug-in option that automatically identifies faces within an image scenario, cropping them with 10 percent of the surrounding area, while optimizing all images. The Zebra QuikCard ID Solution™ will include CardStudio Standard effective at introduction of CardStudio. The part number and price for the bundle will not be affected, making this a seamless upgrade!
CardStudio Classic: The Classic edition lets you create and print professional-looking photo IDs and other card designs with the easy-to-use card design templates and template designer.
CardStudio Standard: Additional features such as an internal database, more card design templates, magnetic encoding support, and ability to import text files are included in the Standard edition.
CardStudio Professional: Designed for enterprise applications, the Professional edition provides advanced features that include smart card and UHF support, security panel and biometric management and more.

NFive Agreement
In June 2010 Zebra obtained exclusive rights to the CardFive ID card design software from NFive, allowing them to provide a stand-alone product as well as a complete ID card printing solution. CardFive products will stop supporting Zebra printers once CardStudio software becomes available, so future software purchases will need to be for the CardStudio software instead of CardFive, but the list price will remain the same.
