Wi-Fi connectivity: This is a true innovation in the world of desktop ID card printers, as it seamlessly supports applications in mobile-intensive environments, such as event organization, or onsite delivery of ID badges (student IDs, membership cards, etc). Wi-Fi is available from the Evolis factory; no upgrade of Expert version will be supported.
Metal Lock: An improved printer protection for your ID card system that limits access to the Evolis Primacy’s ID card printer core and consumables. This lock is available as standard or as an option.
These new great features make the Evolis Primacy an even more user-focused and flexible ID card printer! And stay tuned, because the additional feature of encoding over IP will be soon released for the Evolis Primacy as well!
IP-based encoding will allow organizations to monitor and personalize ID badge printing using any TCP/IP network with an Evolis ID card system. This is an option highly valued by System Integrators to support their large projects. Look for this feature later in 2013!
